Thank you so much for choosing Atelier Midwest. We are a small, female-owned business based in Door County, Wisconsin, where we were born and raised surrounded by natural beauty and local artistry.
Although we have lived and worked around the world, we always find our way back home. We are so proud of the traditions and culture that is uniquely Midwest. This has inspired us to create a line of products that are high-quality, sustainable, comfortable, made in the US, and designed to make you feel at home wherever you choose to wear them. In the spirit of a true atelier, we personally and thoughtfully source premium garments known for their exceptional fit, comfort, durability, and ethical manufacturing standards. Crafted from quality materials and designed to stand the test of time, these are pieces you'll reach for season after season.
All Atelier Midwest apparel is designed by a Midwest team — including our premium hand-woven labels — and is sourced and finished by hand in Los Angeles. All of our paper products are personally sourced in Belgium, France, and Italy, and the majority are made entirely by hand. We have made an unwavering commitment to sell only items made in the US, New Zealand or Europe. We offer many of our clothing items on a pre-order model out of concern for the environment and over-manufacturing.
Whether you're spending a summer evening in the Midwest or carrying a little piece of it wherever life takes you, our goal is simple: create goods and apparel made to be lived in and loved for years to come.
SUPPORTING WHAT INSPIRES US
Door County is at the heart of Atelier Midwest, from its landscapes and traditions to the communities that make it special. We're committed to giving back to this special place where we were born and raised, and to the incredible people that inspire us. After all, it takes a village.
As part of our commitment, 2% of every sale is dedicated to supporting two initiatives within the Door County Community Fund: The Women's Fund of Door County which actively supports women and girls through impactful collaborations with local organizations; and The GO BO Foundation which brings hope to children with life-threatening medical conditions by funding research, supporting treatment, and helping their families during times of financial need.

Atelier Midwest is inspired by the people and places that make life meaningful. We design and create elevated apparel that celebrates meaningful places, shared experiences, and the communities that connect us. In addition to our own brand, we also create high-quality customized apparel for others upon request.
